Founder
Technical roots.
Business perspective.
Sid Pednekar, PhD, is a data, technology and AI executive who develops strategy and leads its execution. He builds capabilities that help organizations make better decisions, improve how they work and put new technology to practical use.
His work connects business priorities with technical and organizational choices: where to invest, what to build, how to allocate resources and what needs to change for a capability to succeed. He leads specialized teams and aligns business, technology, research and governance stakeholders around a shared direction. A recurring focus is turning bespoke solutions into reusable capabilities, supported by the ownership, workflows and adoption needed to make them effective across teams.
Sid’s experience is rooted in investment management, spanning quantitative research, alternative data, portfolio and risk analytics, and applied AI. Working closely with investment professionals has shaped his approach: understand the decision, identify where better information or a different process can help, and build around the people doing the work.
He holds a PhD in Computational Physics and Process Engineering. That scientific foundation informs how he approaches complex problems - reasoning from evidence, testing assumptions and understanding how the parts of a system interact. He brings the same discipline to strategy, team development and organizational change.
